 BroadwayHD will present the exclusive streaming release of Billy Crystal’s five-time Tony Award® nominated Mr. Saturday Night: A New Musical Comedy. Filmed during its Broadway run, Mr. Saturday Night: A New Musical Comedy will be available exclusively on BroadwayHD starting December 1st.

Earlier this week, The Nederlander Organization unveiled the new Lena Horne Theatre in honor of the iconic entertainer and civil rights activist. The Dramatists Guild of America is presenting season four of The Dramatists Guild Presents: TALKBACK. 54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present AMANDA GREEN & HER BROADWAY FRIENDS. Join two-time Tony Award Nominee Amanda Green & her Broadway friends on Monday, October 24 at 7pm for an evening of her hilarious and moving songs.

Amanda Green (Mr. Saturday Night), and composers Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years) and Tom Kitt (Almost Famous) will appear in conversation about Stephen Sondheim at the New York Public Library on October 17.

BroadwayHD will debut the exclusive worldwide streaming release of Billy Crystal’s five-time Tony-Award nominated musical, Mr. Saturday Night: A New Musical Comedy, on their platform after the production concluded its Broadway run on September 4. The exact airing dates will be forthcoming.

This fall, in collaboration with the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, the Dramatists Guild will present two special programs that celebrate the legacy of acclaimed songwriter (and past Guild Council president) Stephen Sondheim, including his advocacy work on behalf of his fellow writers.

It brought a lotta joy, and today, as BroadwayWorld previously reported, Mr. Satuday Night plays its final Broadway performance. The Tony-nominated musical comedy, starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Billy Crystal, opened on Wednesday April 27th at the Nederlander Theater and has played 28 previews and 116 performances.
