Westport Country Playhouse will bring to its stage, “First Lady of Song: Cherise Coaches Sings Ella Fitzgerald,” for a one-week run, from Friday, October 27 through Sunday, November 5.

In an Emmy-nominated performance seen on PBS, acclaimed actress Angela Ingersoll celebrates Judy Garland in concert. Backed by a dynamite band, Ingersoll delivers virtuosic vocals, passionate storytelling, humor, and heart. She also starred as Garland in End of the Rainbow, winning Chicago's Jeff Award and LA Times Woman of the Year in Theatre.

The 23rd Season will include blockbuster musicals The Addams Family, 9 to 5, and Million Dollar Quartet, a time-honored holiday tradition in A Christmas Carol, and a new winter series including a concert version of The Music Man and a debut cabaret created by Michael Ingersoll, Artist’s Lounge All-Stars.
