Ahead of tonight’s first Broadway performance of Stereophonic, the production is launching in-person rush, digital rush, and digital lottery policies.

Stereophonic will begin performances on Broadway one day early, on Tuesday, April 2.

Stereophonic, which had an off-Broadway run last year at Playwrights Horizons, will transfer to Broadway this year. The Broadway production is set to begin previews April 3, ahead of an opening on April 19 at the Golden Theater.

Emerging singer, songwriter and musician Abby Hamilton made her television debut on “CBS Saturday Morning” this past weekend, where she was featured as part of their “Saturday Sessions” series, performing three songs from her acclaimed debut album, #1 Zookeeper (of the San Diego Zoo): “Lucky,” “Mayday” and the title track. Watch the video!

“Soccer Field” is from Hamilton’s acclaimed debut album, #1 Zookeeper (of the San Diego Zoo), which was released earlier this fall via Blue Gown Records—a new imprint run by WhizzBangBAM’s Ian Thornton (Tyler Childers) in partnership with Virgin Music. Playwrights Horizons will present a three-week final extension of David Adjmi’s Stereophonic, directed by Daniel Aukin with original songs by Oscar nominee and Grammy winner Will Butler, formerly of Arcade Fire.

Produced by Justin Craig and Duane Lundy, #1 Zookeeper (of the San Diego Zoo) is filled with Hamilton’s sharp lyrical perspective and entrancing vocals, further establishing her as one of music’s most intriguing new voices. Across these ten vulnerable tracks, Hamilton recounts personal experiences with a universal relatability.
