On Tuesday, May 16, Bill Nye “The Science Guy” will make an appearance at McCaw Hall to share his eye-opening views on climate change and empower the audience to change the world.  

Presenters will include Berla Mundi, Joselyn Dumas, Michaela Coel, Nomzamo Mbatha and Sabrina Dhowre Elba. Global Citizen Festival: NYC will feature performances by Metallica, Charlie Puth, Jonas Brothers, MÅNESKIN, Mariah Carey, Mickey Guyton and Rosalía with Angélique Kidjo and Billy Porter, and be hosted by Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Billy Porter has joined the lineup for the 2022 Global Citizen festival. He joins the lineup alongside Angélique Kidjo and the previously announced performers, including Metallica, Charlie Puth, Jonas Brothers, MÅNESKIN, Mariah Carey, Mickey Guyton, and Rosalía.

Joining the cast as recurring characters are Priah Ferguson ('Stranger Things') as Gretel’s best friend, Bailey; Liza Koshy ('Liza on Demand') as news reporter Veronica Hill; Alyson Stoner ('Phineas and Ferb') and Brock Powell ('Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe') as the evil sibling duo Lauren and Lyle, and more.

MacFarlane (The Orville, Ted & Ted 2, Family Guy) is set to reprise the voice of the iconic and loveable foul-mouthed teddy bear Ted, and will also direct, write, co-showrun and executive produce all episodes alongside co-showrunners, writers and executive producers Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh (Modern Family).  

Peacock announced today the main casting for TED, the highly-anticipated live-action comedy series based on the blockbuster film franchise, with Seth MacFarlane (The Orville, Ted & Ted 2, Family Guy) set to reprise the voice of the iconic and loveable foul-mouthed teddy bear Ted.   

The Uncle's celebratory performance will feature their signature brand of original sketch comedy, live musical performance and a special guest appearance by comedian Johanna Hausman (Bill Nye Saves the World/Hyphenated).

The documentary feature unpacks the career of Dick Gregory, the activist, pop-culture icon and thought leader who changed the lives of millions across the world through constant disruption and awareness.

Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, Wanda Sykes, W. Kamau Bell and others discuss Gregory’s paradigm-shifting significance on the art of comedy and culture. The film features original music by Black Thought of the Grammy® award winning hip-hop band The Roots.
