ER Producers to Bring OUTBREAK Pilot to NBC

Deadline reports that producers John Wells and Jack Orman (ER) are teaming up for OUTBREAK, a new hour-long drama series for NBC.

OUTBREAK is based on the Wolfgang Petersen-helmed 1995 film, which starred Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman and Rene Russo.
The "medical thriller" follows a team attempting to contain a deadly airborne virus before it spreads across the globe.Wells' upcoming projects include Electric Slide and Love & Mercy.
His TV series Shameless is currently running on Showtime. Other TV producing credits include Southland, Mildred Pierce, ER, The West Wing, Third Watch and more.Videos
