"Though I feel fall starting to creep in, I plan to enjoy every ounce of summer I have left.

Despite hailing from the wintry city of Stockholm, Swedish band Like Swimming crafts sweet and bouncy indie pop tunes that pair well with sprinklers and sunscreen. Today I'm happy to debut the track "Go Buffalo", which is guaranteed to brighten your Friday.

I asked band members Ida Hedene, Petter Wesslander and Claes Carlstrom(formerly of the band You Say France & I Whistle) to describe the song. Here's what they told me via e-mail:

"It's great to see this beast of a song take its first steps in the public eye, and that on the other side of the Atlantic! The song was written in a remote cabin outside Stockholm, recorded in the celebrated Polar studio (home of Abba) and is now ready to thrust into new adventures - and we are too!

'Go Buffalo' is just another way for us to get that wonderful feeling of almost losing traction but then regaining focus and finding the way ... you know, it doesn't really matter if it's while driving a car or if it's about a relationship."

If you want to download the song, it'll pop up on iTunes Tuesday.

Like Swimming will make its U.S. debut in October at the Culture Collide Festival and will also play at this year's CMJ Music Marathon. Follow them on Twitter, and like them on Facebook."
