BC/EFA's 2015 Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction happened on September 27, with more than 60 tables full of Broadway memorabilia, collectible Playbills and one-of-a-kind gems from us here at BroadwayWorld and all your favorite shows. Deaf West's acclaimed production of Spring Awakening is back on Broadway. The acclaimed production of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's SPRING AWAKENING, directed by Michael Arden and choreographed by Spencer Liff, opened on September 27, at Broadway's Brooks AtkinsonTheatre (256 West 47th Street). SPRING AWAKENING's strictly limited 18-week-only engagement started previews on September 8. Check out more photos here.

The Broadway adaptation of THÉRÈSE RAQUIN, starring Academy and Golden Globe nominee Keira Knightley (Thérèse) in her Broadway debut, began preview performances on October 1, 2015, and opens officially on Thursday, October 29, 2015 on Broadway at Studio 54. The new adaptation is written by Helen Edmundson, based upon the novel by Émile Zola, directed by Evan Cabnet. Check out more photos from the casts opening preview bow here.

Dubbed New York City's first outdoor music festival, Elsie Fest celebrated tunes from the stage and screen over the weekend at JBL Live at Pier 97 (57th St and WestSide Highway in New York City). The lineup included broadway favorites like Aaron Tveit, Darren Criss, Lea Salonga, Laura Osnes, Seth Rudetsky, Leslie Odom, Jr., and StarKid. Broadway's Allegiance, a new musical inspired by Takei's true-life story, opens on November 8, 2015 at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). Previews begin October 6. It features a book by Marc Acito and music and lyrics by Jay Kuo. Olivier Award nominee Stafford Arima (London's Ragtime, Off-Broadway's Bare, Carrie, Altar Boyz) directs. Written by Danai Gurira and directed by Liesl Tommy, Eclipsed is running at The Public Theater through Sunday, November 29, with an official press opening on Wednesday, October 14. The complete cast of Eclipsed features Pascale Armand (Bessie), Akosua Busia (Rita), Zainab Jah(Maima), Lupita Nyong'o (Girl), and Saycon Sengbloh (Helena). Check out more amazing photos here.

The American Premiere Studio Cast Recording of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the only stage collaboration from two masters of the American musical, Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, was recorded at the historic Avatar Studios from September 28-30. The album will be released by Ghostlight Records in January 2016. iTunes pre-orders will be accepted beginning December 4th. Check out more photos from the recording session here.

Actress and DANCING WITH THE STARS winner Rumer Willis made her Broadway debut as 'Roxie Hart' in Broadway's Chicago just last week. She will now play a 6-week limited engagement at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St., NYC) through Sunday, November 1, 2015. She just stopped by GMA to chat with Robin Roberts about her debut and perform what else, but "Roxie". Check out a video, followed by photos from the appearance here.

A brand new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic THE SOUND OF MUSIC launched its national tour at the Center Theatre Group / Ahmanson Theatre on September 30 at 8 p.m. Directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien, the production closes in Los Angeles on October 31, 2015, and will then tour North America for multiple seasons, playing multi-week and week-long engagements. The First National Tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder,opened at Chicago's Bank of America Theatre on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
