Crying over HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH closing? Still trying to win the #Ham4Ham lottery? Didn't have time to check in on your favorite Broadway stars? Lift up your hands! Last Sunday, Hedwig and the Angry Inch shuttered on Broadway and it was a rock concert for the ages. During the show's final curtain call, the band cranked it up and brought down the house as past HEDWIG cast members Neil Patrick Harris, Darren Criss, Lena Hall, more joined the current cast on stage. After the curtain call, Stephen Trask, and more took the stage to say a few farewell words to the crowd and even led the team in one last song. For more photos from the memorable night click here.

Deaf West Theatre's acclaimed production of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's Spring Awakening, directed by Michael Arden and choreographed by Spencer Liff, is now in performances at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). An era on the Great White Way came to end on Saturday, September 12th, as Benny Andersson andBjörn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical Mamma Mia!, inspired by the songs of ABBA, concluded its historic, record-breaking run of 5,773 performances.? Oona Laurence (Matilda, Southpaw) and Owen Judge (Fantastic Four) hosted 'Lyrics for Life' on Sept 9th at Symphony Space, and BroadwayWorld was on the scene. In honor of World Suicide Prevention Week, this event features 120+ young performers from Broadway, TV & Film, singer/songwriters and award-winning dancers. The original Broadway cast of CRY-BABY took the stage at 54 Below for a reunion concert just last night. Cry-Baby is based on the movie of the same name by John Waters and features a score by David Javerbaum (Act of God) and Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne), and a book by Mark O'Donnell (Hairspray) and Thomas Meehan (Annie). Although it only ran for three months, Cry-Baby was nominated for four Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and the long-awaited official cast album will be released shortly. The evening featured original cast members James Snyder(If/Then), Elizabeth Stanley (On the Town), Chester Gregory(Sister Act), Christopher Hanke (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), Harriet Harris (It Shoulda Been You),Alli Mauzey (Wicked) and so many others. Tony Award nominee Will Swenson took the stage for his Feinstein's/54 Below solo debut, where he was joined by special opening night guest star Tony Award winner Audra McDonald (Lady Day, Porgy and Bess). Swenson will be joined by the following guest stars: September 17 - Ramin Karimloo (Tony nominee for Les Miserables), September 18 - Nick Adams (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) and September 19 - Caissie Levy (Les Miserables, Hair). Swenson plays Feinstein's/ 54 Below for 3 more performances: September 17, 18 & 19 at 7pm. Check out photos from the event here.

With book, music, and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa, and directed by Kirsten Sanderson, performances begin Tuesday, October 6 with an official press opening on Wednesday, October 21. Check out a first look at the starry cast in rehearsal here.

Neil Patrick Harris is having the BEST TIME EVER! Five Emmy Awards and a Tony Award make multi-talented Neil Patrick Harris the perfect star for NBC's new live one-hour show BEST TIME EVER WITH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS that is unlike any other on American television. The premiere episode featured appearances by A-list stars such as Reese Witherspoon, stunts, comedy skits, incredible performances, mini game shows, audience giveaways and hidden camera pranks. Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell made his Cafe' Carlyle debut last night as he opened the Carlyle's fall season. The two-week engagement, entitled Plays With Music which featured Broadway favorites and standards. Brian's opening song was Irving Berlin's "There's No Business Like Show Business". If you think you're going to hear the typical version just forget it! Don't try to tap your feet to his opening. Brian lets loose with a dynamic and elegant version that starts in Colla Voce (musicians to follow rhythm and tempo of singer) and then proceeds to upend you in 7/8 and 5/8 time before settling into a jazz 4/4. Roundabout Theatre Company presents the Roundabout Underground world-premiere production ofUgly Lies the Bone by Lindsey Ferrentino, directed by Patricia McGregor, as part of the 50th Anniversary Season. The cast will feature Karron Graves (Kacie), Mamie Gummer (Jess), Caitlin O'Connell (Voice / Their Mom), Chris Stack (Stevie) and Haynes Thigpen (Kelvin). Roundabout welcomes back Mamie Gummer, who made her New York stage debut in Roundabout's 2005 production of Mr. Marmalade. The world premiere of Ugly Lies the Bone officially on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the Black Box Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).
