And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Lily Tomlin, who turns 77 today!

After receiving a Special Tony Award in 1977, Tomlin won a Tony and Drama Desk for THE SEARCH FOR SIGNS OF INTELLIGENT LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE in 1986. Her wife (then partner) Jane Wagner penned the show; Tomlin also took the stage in the 2001 Broadway revival. The actress' past stage credits include Broadway's APPEARING NITELY, which she wrote, and off-off-Broadway's BELOW THE BELT. She currently stars in the Netflix original series GRACE AND FRANKIE and can be heard as the voice of Ms. Frizzle on the kids series THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS. Originally a stand-up comedian, Tomlin's breakout role was as a cast member on the variety show ROWAN & MARTIN'S LAUGH-IN in the early '70s. Among her film credits are NASHVILLE, THE LATE SHOW, 9 TO 5, ALL OF ME, FLIRTING WITH DISASTER, TEA WITH MUSSOLINI, I HEART HUCKABEES and GRANDMA. She was celebrated at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2014.
