Sheffield Theatres is delighted to announce that tickets for its Annual Fundraising Gala on Friday 6 September are now on general sale.
Hosted by Sheffield Theatres' Artistic Director, Daniel Evans, and Chief Executive, Dan Bates, this unique celebration brings together some of the country's finest acting talent, including the cast of The Winter's Tale, and offers a thrilling insight behind the scenes of the theatre.
Guests will enjoy a sparkling wine reception backstage, followed by a four course meal in the Grade II listed Crucible, alongside actors from the stage and screen. The evening also includes live entertainment from a host of performers and an exciting auction of money-can't-buy theatrical experiences.
The annual Gala Dinner has become a highlight of the social calendar in Sheffield, and this year is a particularly special occasion as the company celebrates its status as Regional Theatre of the Year. The money raised from the sale of tickets and the auction goes directly to supporting the future work of the Theatres.
Dan Bates, Chief Executive, commented: 'The support of our audiences is increasingly important in the current funding climate. Coming to our gala dinner is a great way to give that support whilst enjoying a uniquely special experience. It's a pleasure to see our guests explore backstage to discover some of the theatre's rich history. The Crucible also provides a spectacular backdrop for our delicious four course dinner and entertainment from some of the country's finest performers.'
Tickets for this exclusive evening are available priced £125 per person by contacting Abigail Walton on 0114 201 3868 or via email at a.walton@sheffieldtheatres.co.uk.
