Jean Smart คว้ารางวัล Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series จาก Hacks ซึ่งนับเป็นชัยชนะครั้งที่ห้าติดต่อกันของเธอในซีรีส์เรื่องนี้ ด้วยการชนะนี้ Smart จึงกลายเป็นนักแสดงคนแรกที่คว้ารางวัล Emmy ด้านการแสดงในทุกๆ ซีซั่นของซีรีส์โทรทัศน์ Smart เพิ่งแสดงบนบรอดเวย์ในฤดูกาลที่แล้วใน Call Me Izzy เธอได้รับการเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัล Tony Award จากการฟื้นฟูละครเรื่อง The Man Who Came to Dinner ในปี 2000 และมีผลงานเปิดตัวบนบรอดเวย์จาก Piaf ในปี 1981
