Rigoletto, one of Verdi's most celebrated operas, will be presented by the Canadian Opera Company in January and February 2026. The production features baritone Quinn Kelsey in the title role, alongside tenor Ben Bliss as the Duke of Mantua and sopranos Sarah Dufresne and Andriana Chuchman sharing the role of Gilda. Directed by Christopher Alden and conducted by Johannes Debus, this compelling drama explores themes of power and betrayal within a Victorian-era setting, brought to life through an impressive orchestra and a talented chorus.
