Kim Selody's stage adaptation of The Hobbit, based on J.R.R. Tolkien's beloved novel, is directed by Pablo Felices-Luna at the Avon Theatre. Richard Lee stars as Bilbo Baggins, an unassuming Hobbit who is drawn from the comfort of his home into an extraordinary quest across Middle-earth, joining the Wizard Gandalf (Tim Campbell) and Thorin Oakenshield (Aaron Krohn) and his band of Dwarves to reclaim their home from the Dragon Smaug. Along the way, Bilbo encounters Trolls, Goblins, giant spiders, and the creature Gollum, ultimately discovering a courage that proves essential to the fate of all involved.
