The Canadian Opera Company's 2023/2024 season launches with Fidelio, the only opera from master composer Ludwig van Beethoven and a work that hasn't been seen on the COC stage in nearly 15 years. Ergo Pink Fest is a 4-day theatre festival in Toronto (March 28-31, 2019), conceived and hosted by Ergo Arts Theatre (EAT) that gives voice to female and non-binary identified playwrights, providing them a unique platform to develop and showcase their work. This unique production of THE TAMING OF THE SHREW is set in 1989 during the Toronto Pride Festival and explores themes of sexuality, consent and the exchange of power.
