The Canadian Opera Company’s Ensemble Studio is set to welcome five new talented singers for the 2025/2026 season. Incoming members include soprano Emma Pennell, mezzo-soprano Ariana Maubach, tenor Angelo Moretti, baritone Ben Wallace, and bass-baritone Nicholas Murphy, each bringing unique artistry to the program's rich tradition of developing Canadian opera professionals. This marks the 45th anniversary of the Ensemble Studio, which provides intensive coaching, practical experience, and mentorship for emerging opera artists. The current cohort will perform farewell concerts on May 20 and 29, 2025, at the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre.
