For one night only you have the rare opportunity of seeing the stars of Billy Elliot and the Lion King in an intimate venue, performing numbers that are close to their hearts while raising money for charity. The fun takes place at the Tranzac on Monday, June 6. Doors open at 7 pm. The evening, titled City of Hope Toronto, will feature a stunning one-hour performance, a post-show meet and greet with the casts of Billy Elliot and the Lion King and a raffle with exclusive prizes including autographed programs, backstage tours and tickets to the shows. With song and dance routines created especially for this show, this is a can't-miss night for fans of musical theatre.

Performers and people working behind the scenes in theatre, film and television, music and dance can apply for emergency financial aid from the Fund, which provides over $500,000 a year in rent payments, grocery money, utility payments and other basic living expenses.The Fund has helped over 10,000 entertainment industry workers recover from illness, injury or other circumstances causing severe economic and personal hardship since it was founded in 1958. It receives no major government funding and is wholly sustained by support from individuals and entertainment industry organizations.Videos
