A musical theatre festival has launched to give graduates the chance to perform and direct for some of the most renowned names in the business to gain vital experience to help them get into the industry.

This week, Midwest Young Artists Conservatory launches a brand new tuition-free summer music program 'Summer Music Staycation' with rich and diverse offerings for students of all ages who will be able to participate from anywhere!

Flushing Town Hall will celebrate the life and legacy of NEA Jazz Master Jimmy Heath, the Music Director of the Queens Jazz Orchestra, in a virtual tribute a?" a?oeI'm Back Swinging Again! a?" on Friday, June 19 at 7:00 PM. Mr. Heath, who passed away in January at the age of 93, had been due to return to Flushing Town Hall's stage with his orchestra that evening.
