2025 AWARDS SEASON

The 89th Annual Drama League Awards has set its date for 2023!Tthe historic, highly anticipated annual luncheon ceremony and its pre-event industry reception will be presented at The Ziegfeld Ballroom (141 W 54th St, NYC) on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 12:00PM.

The Tony Awards will be back in June 2023 at a brand new venue! The CBS broadcast will air live from the United Palace in New York City on Sunday, June 11, 2023. We have all the details!

Notable nominees include Hugh Jackman, Imelda Staunton, Jeremy Pope, Tony Kushner, Brendan Fraser, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jessica Chastain, Emma Thompson, Andrew Garfield, Steve Martin, Martin Short, F. The producers of the 2nd Annual Antonyo Awards have announced that this year’s in-person ceremony, originally scheduled to take place at the Apollo Theater on October 10, 2022, has been postponed and that both a new date and a new name for the awards will be announced in the coming months.

The Clive & Valerie Barnes Foundation has announced the date for the 12th Annual Clive Barnes Awards. Hosted by New York 1's Frank DiLella, the presentation of the awards recognizing excellence in theater and dance will take place on Sunday, September 18th, 2022 at 3pm at the Westbeth Studio.

 Broadway Black presents The 2nd Annual Antonyo Awards, which honors Black theatre artists during the 2021-2022 season. The live, in-person ceremony will be held on Monday, October 10 at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem (253 West 125th Street). Awards in 29 competitive categories and five honorary categories will be presented along with performances and guest appearances. 

West Side Story, In the Heights, Encanto, and more have been nominated for 2022 Imagen Awards. Nominees include Ariana DeBose, Rachel Zegler, Rita Moreno, Anthony Ramos, Leslie Grace, John Leguizamo, Stephanie Beatriz, Eden Espinosa, Frankie Rodriguez, and more.

The Dramatists Guild of America has announced further recipients for their 2022 Awards. The Awards for both 2021 and 2022 recipients will be presented at Joe’s Pub on Monday, July 25, 2022.

Winners for the 2022 Chita Rivera Awards have been announced! In keeping with the mission of the Chita Rivera Awards, nominators considered outstanding choreography, featured dancers, and ensemble in shows on Broadway and Off Broadway, as well as outstanding choreography in film that opened pre-Covid as well as in the 2021-2022 season.

Charlotte d’Amboise (Chicago; A Chorus Line) and Bianca Marroquín (Chicago; Fosse/Verdon) will host the 2022 Chita Rivera Awards, it was announced today.

Broadway's 2022 Best Musical, Michael R. Jackson's A Strange Loop, made its first return to the stage tonight following its Tony Awards triumph. At their first curtain call back, star Jaquel Spivey and the Loop ensemble celebrated their big win with a packed house.

Another Tonys has come and gone! The American Theatre Wing's 75th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Ariana DeBose, aired live from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday night. Myles Frost made history, becoming the youngest individual actor to win a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical at only 22- years old. He took home the award for his critically acclaimed performance as Michael Jackson in the smash Broadway hit, MJ. watch his celebration with his MJ family!
