I'LL SAY SHE IS, the legendary musical comedy that was the Broadway debut of the Marx Brothers, originally opened 92 years ago today -- on May 19, 1924 at the 875-seat Casino Theatre on Broadway at 39th Street. It played for 313 performances before being lost to history. Thanks to Grouch Marx enthusiast Noah Diamond, I'LL SAY SHE IS will return to the stage in a historic new production at The Connelly Theater beginning previews May 28.

Show Boat is a musical in two acts with music by Jerome Kern and book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. It was originally produced in New York in 1927 and in London in 1928, and was based on the 1926 novel of the same name by Edna Ferber. The plot chronicles the lives of those living and working on the Cotton Blossom, a Mississippi River show boat, from 1880 to 1927. The show's dominant themes include racial prejudice and tragic, enduring love.

Celtic Thunder to Dedicate Mythology Australian Tour to George Donaldson, May-June 2014

Following the tragic death of original principal singer George Donaldson last month, Celtic Thunder has announced they will be dedicating their upcoming Mythology Australian tour in May/June this year to the late member. George's death has stunned his fellow band mates, along with their fans. He was highly regarded and loved by all. Affectionately known as 'Big George', he was invaluable in helping to establish the show's trademark celebration of Celtic heritage.
