Agatha Christie’s classic and suspenseful murder mystery on a voyage down the River Nile where every passenger becomes a suspect, keeping audiences guessing until the very end. It’s the early 1950s. The beautiful and wealthy Kay Mostyn is on her honeymoon, cruising down the River Nile on a luxurious paddle steamer with her dashing new husband, Simon. Soon the blissful atmosphere and idyllic surroundings are shattered by a shocking and brutal murder. Tension rises and claustrophia builds as a multitude of memorable passengers reveal they all have a motive to kill. Can clergyman and sleuth, Canon Pennefather, navigate a web of deceit and danger to unravel the truth and expose an audacious conspiracy? Fridays and Saturdays at 7.30pm Sundays at 4.30pm
Genesian Theatre is at 420 Kent St, Sydney, New South Wales.
