Thursdays @ The Intersection, a new outdoor entertainment series in Grand Center, features an artful evening of live music, engaging performances and interactive activities all centered around one of the many arts specialties found among the district's venues and organizations.
Tomorrow's event (July 1) features wearable art by Belle of the Ball and the Balloon Gods. Photographers will be on hand for souvenir photos. Visitors are invited to wear their own creative concoctions straight from their closets or choose from provided artistic costumes and get into character! Fantasy Faces Airbrush Art turns skin into a canvas, and Craft Alliance offers demonstrations on how to make wearable art at home. Music by Electro Funk Assembly and "Wearing My (he)ART on My Sleeve" cocktails available on KOTA's patio!
The event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, July 1 at Strauss Park, intersection of Grand and Washington boulevards. It is free of charge.
