SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical will close on Broadway Sunday, December 30, 2018. A North American Tour will launch on September 30, 2019, playing dozens of cities across the US and Canada, including Los Angeles, Nashville, Rochester, Washington DC and West Palm Beach.

The cast of Summer: The Donna Summer Musical brought their own 'Hot Stuff' to the NBC Thanksgiving Day Parade performing the iconic song from the musical. 

Theatrical licensor Broadway Licensing has acquired the performance rights to Summer: The Donna Summer Musical.

The SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical - Original Cast Recording Album will be available as a limited edition, double album vinyl record from Republic Records beginning Friday, October 26 at Barnes & Noble retail and online

It can be tough out there for a jukebox musical. Many have come, few have stayed. Yet, it seems like Broadway can't get enough of them. Recent hits like JERSEY BOYS and BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL are the picture of what a staged jukebox success looks like. They have paved the great white way in gold for future musicals of the like to flood their way in.  SUMMER: THE DONNA SUMMER MUSICAL is one of latest in the new class jukebox musical to hit the Broadway stage. The show opened to subpar reviews at the Lunt-Fontanne theater this spring, after a 2017 premiere at the La Jolla Playhouse. Republic Records, with producers Tommy Mottola and The Dodgers, released the original cast recording this past July.

This week, Broadway's resident disco bash, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, celebrated one-hundred hustle-filled performances on Broadway. Check out the company of the show celebrating its first Broadway milestone below!

Summer: The Donna Summer Musical has announced that a limited number of $40 same day tickets will be available via a digital lottery for select performances starting May 25th.

Now you won't have to stop dancing after the curtain comes down on SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical. Beginning tonight Bond 45 in its new location next door to the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street), will host an after-party after every performance of SUMMER. The celebration will continue downstairs at Bond 45 with dancing to all of SUMMER's greatest hits and a themed menu of signature SUMMER cocktails including 'Hot Stuff,' 'Bad Girls,' and 'Last Dance.'.
