As New York's premier Off-Broadway theater dedicated to kids and families, The New Victory Theater has announced six NY premieres and seven U.S. premieres from eight different countries around the world in a new season that runs from September 26, 2014 through June 7, 2015.

Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes and Dirty Beasts, a spectacular new live show combining two of his most famous and best-loved rhyming storybooks, will make its world premiere at La Boite's Roundhouse Theatre these school holidays from 8 to 18 January.

The shortlist has been announced for the only national literary award voted for entirely by kids - the Red House Children's Book Award.

The Gruffalo will head to Swindon, along with characters from other forthcoming shows at The Wyvern Theatre, to join the theatre's Family Fun Day on Saturday 2 November from 10am to 1pm.

"The Winter-Spring season promises Swindon theatregoers a true variety of quality productions to inspire and entertain," said Theatre Director Derek Aldridge.
