The shortlist has been announced for the only national literary award voted for entirely by kids - the Red House Children's Book Award.
The Gruffalo will head to Swindon, along with characters from other forthcoming shows at The Wyvern Theatre, to join the theatre's Family Fun Day on Saturday 2 November from 10am to 1pm.
"The Winter-Spring season promises Swindon theatregoers a true variety of quality productions to inspire and entertain," said Theatre Director Derek Aldridge. "I am particularly looking forward to seeing the iconic play The Mousetrap on the Wyvern stage and to hearing the whodunit theories of our audiences.
