Theatre for a New Audience presents About Alice, the world premiere of a new play by Calvin Trillin, inspired by his 2007 memoir of the same name. The production, directed by Leonard Foglia, plays January 8-February 3, 2019 at Polonsky Shakespeare Center (262 Ashland Place, Brooklyn). 

Inkwell's World Premiere 'Sisters Three' opens December 14th at 8pm

Casting has been announced for Rosenbaum's Rescue, the World Premiere play exploring the true story of how over 7,000 Danish Jews managed to escape the Nazi occupation in 1943. Starring Olivier Award-winner David Bamber, Neil McCaul, Dorothea Myer-Bennett and Julia Swift, the production unearths new accounts behind one of history's most compelling mysteries. Directed by Kate Fahy and written by A. Bodin Saphir, the official press night at Park Theatre will be Tuesday 15 Jan, 7pm.

The new political satire, THE WAR PARTY will have it's New York City premiere at The New York International Fringe Festival in October. Written by Vincent Delaney's and directed by Broadway veteran Don Stephenson (Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Goodspeed, Paper Mill Playhouse), the limited run will play October 14 - 23 in Manhattan.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is excited to announce that Sharr White's The Other Place will be adding performances on Friday, October 26 at 8pm; Saturday, October 27 at 3pm and 8pm; and Sunday, October 28 at 3pm. Jenny Topper and Theatre Royal Bath Productions today announce full casting for the world premiere of The Nightingales which will see Steven Pacey, Stefan Adegbola, Sarah Earnshaw, Philip McGinley and Mary Stockley join previously announced BAFTA Award-winning television star and writer Ruth Jones in her highly anticipated return to the stage. The production, directed by RSC Associate Artist Christopher Luscombe and written by William Gaminara, will run at Theatre Royal Bath from Wednesday 31 October to Saturday 10 November, with opening night for press on Wednesday 7 November. The Nightingales will then tour to Cambridge, Cardiff, Chichester and Malvern prior to a West End transfer, with venue and dates to be announced.

Damsel Productions today announces the London tour dates for Abi Zakarian's Fabric, a new production in support of Solace Women's Aid. Following a run at Soho Theatre, the production tours to non-traditional theatre spaces - Hammersmith Town Hall, Kingsgate Community Centre, Goodinge Community Centre and Draper Hall, located in four boroughs identified by Solace Women's Aid as target areas. Directed by Hannah Hauer-King and starring Nancy Sullivan as Leah, Fabric opens at Soho Theatre on 13 September, with previews from 11 September, and closes on 22 September before touring from 24 September to 6 October.
