For the 2nd year, the Châtelet Musical Club is growing, inviting artists from different countries and backgrounds to share their love and talent for musical theater in the intimate grand foyer of the Théâtre du Châtelet, which, under the helm of Jean-Luc Choplin, has for the past decade been the new temple of musical theater, introducing the French to the genius of Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein (among others) and serving as the home for the first ever tryout in Paris with An American in Paris in 2014.

George Street Playhouse (GSP) has announced its spring musical comedy event--the Broadway/Off-Broadway hit The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.  Performances of this fresh and newly conceived production begin March 14th and continue through April 9th at the Arthur Laurents Theater at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center. Tickets are now on sale.

Broadway's Wicked returns for an electrifying community giveback initiative at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Feb. 5 and Feb. 12. Frozen, based on the 3rd highest grossing animated film ever, hit the stage in 2018 and is yet another cash cow. The touring production, created by a host of Oscar and Tony award winning talent is a visual delight, often breathtaking in its beauty.

Broadway Dreams will present its annual NYC Showcase on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 5 and 7:30 PM at RWS Studios. The showcase represents the top 5% of the organization’s students and affords them the unique opportunity to perform for every major Broadway casting agency and other top entertainment industry decision makers.

Actors' Equity Association has presented a special ACCA Award honoring the resilience of the chorus during the pandemic during a ceremony marking the reopening of Equity's New York City Audition Center.

Tobacco Factory Theatres in Bristol have announced their Christmas cast for The Snow Queen which runs at the venue from 1st of December 2022 to 15th of January 2023. The production is being co-produced with New International Encounter (NIE) and Cambridge Junction.

Broadway couple Patti Murin and Colin Donnell will be releasing their first joint album! Titled Something Stupid afer the 1967 Carson and Gaile song, the album will be released on November 18.

The production will feature Ashley Blanchet (Paper Mill’s Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Broadway’s Waitress) as Maria Rainer, and Graham Rowat (Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen, Sunset Boulevard) as Captain Georg von Trapp.
