Classic Stage Company has announced its full programming for Classic Perspectives, a series of post-show conversations inspired by A Man of No Importance by Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty, and Lynn Ahrens.

Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino has announced the 2023 season, inspired by the theme of Duty vs Desire. The playbill includes 13 lively and thought-provoking productions across four theatres, along with a full slate of events in The Meighen Forum.

Award-winning composer Blake Allen will present the world premiere of his original musical work “INSOMNIA” at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall — on Tuesday, November 8 at 8 PM, with Cree Carrico & Jeanna de Waal.

Millennium Stage will offer free live community performances, streamed live, plus online programs and film screenings, Wednesday–Saturday each week throughout their campus.

 The Obie Award-winning HERE announced that due to a positive COVID test within the company, all performances of Marie It’s Time have been cancelled through Saturday September 17, 2022. Performances will resume Wednesday September 21.

Harlem Stage has announced highlights of its 2022-2023 season, whose centerpiece is a seven-event series devoted to deepening and unpacking understandings of the Black Arts Movement, its intersections with the larger Black Power Movement, and its historic and cultural relevance in today’s America.

BlackRock Center for the Arts, providing opportunities to explore, celebrate and engage in the arts, invites you to join us for an anniversary season to ignite your inner joy and love of the arts. To kick off this special 20th year, BlackRock will be celebrating an entire week with an artist reception and gallery opening on September 17, social media previews of the season during the week, and a culminating opening party on September 24, 2022 at 6:00 PM.

Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace has teamed up with Tony Award-Winning musical Kinky Boots to celebrate the opening of the Off-Broadway production with an evening of skating and show tunes at the roller rink.

The track is accompanied by an official video directed by Stickles (with cinematography from Gladys Peltier and editing by Ray Concepcion) that finds the singer strutting through the streets of Paris, staring down the viewer with a mélange of charm and menace inspired by Pusha T’s iconic clip for 2013’s “Numbers on the Boards.” Plus, tour dates!

This fall, Gingold Theatrical Group will present Candida, one of George Bernard Shaw’s most popular plays. Directed by David Staller, Bernard Shaw’s Candida begins previews on October 5, 2022, with opening night set for October 25, and will run through November 19, 2022, at Theatre Two in Theatre Row.

Goosebumps The Musical: Phantom of the Auditorium (Original Studio Cast Recording) – Deluxe Edition has been released by Ghostlight Records in streaming and digital formats. Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center is offering a stellar series of jazz performances with more than two dozen musicians, vocalists, and dancers appearing in West Chester this September through December, hosted by local jazz and blues artist, Sara Michaels.
