To mark the 2025 holiday season, Disney has launched their “Make Someone’s Holiday Magic' campaign to celebrate the joy of giving, which includes a new short film and a holiday tour.

Based on the remarkable true story that took place in an isolated community, Come From Away is a critically acclaimed musical featuring an enduringly relevant script accompanied by a deeply moving score by Irene Sankoff and David Hein. 

Come from Away tells the inspiring true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in the remote town of Gander, Newfoundland in the aftermath of September 11, 2001. As fear and uncertainty gripped the world, the people of Gander responded with open arms.

Asolo Repertory Theatre has released first look photos of the cast of COME FROM AWAY, launching the 2025–26 season with performances November 12–December 28, 2025.

STAGES St. Louis has announced their 40th Anniversary Season today.  Their season opens on May 30 – June 28, 2026. with the hilarious and quirky The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. The season continues July 24 – August 23, 2026, with what many consider to be the perfect musical comedy, Guys and Dolls. The season closes with the long-awaited STAGES premiere of Come From Away on September 18 – October 18, 2026.
