Today’s subject Talia Suskauer is currently living her theatre life on tour playing the role of Lucille Frank in the Jason Robert Brown/Alfred Uhry modern day musical theatre masterwork Parade. The tour will make it’s final stop in the Eisenhower Theater at Kennedy Center from August 19th to September 7th.

On September 7, Lin-Manuel Miranda will host a special sing-along screening of the filmed recording of Hamilton at New York's United Palace Theater. 10 winners will be selected for a VIP experience, which includes two seats to the movie, a meet-and-greet with Miranda himself, and 10th anniversary swag.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Lin-Manuel Miranda announced that the pro-shot of Hamilton, which debuted on Disney+ in 2020, will be making its way to theaters this year in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the hit musical.

She is returning to her native Hawaii to perform the role of Rose in Gypsy with production shows to benefit I’m A Bright Kid Foundation Aug. 8-24.

It’s so satisfying to see a musical that resonates emotionally with an audience, and Waitress is one of those musicals. From the writing to the performance, the entire audience was held rapt for the entire 2 1/2 hours, staying right with the performers as they traversed this well told story. There were gasps, applause, and exclamations of support, and a well deserved standing ovation at the end of it all. MTWichita told this story exceedingly well.
