Aaron Sorkin’s 2018 stage re-imagination of the classic Harper Lee novel “To Kill A Mockingbird” opened Tuesday at the Kansas City Music Hall for a one week run.  It is one of the finest touring companies of any play I’ve been privileged to witness in many years.  “Mockingbird” stars well-known actor Richard Thomas in a stellar turn as the lead character of Atticus Finch.

The complete cast has been revealed for Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ APPROPRIATE, directed by Lila Neugebauer at Second Stage Theater. 

City Theatre has announced the second production of its 2023/2024 season (49th overall), Lauren Gunderson (The Revolutionists, City Theatre 2018) and Margot Melcon's Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, directed by Kyle Haden, which runs from November 25 – December 17 on the City Theatre Main Stage. 

Theatre503 has announced the cast and full creative team for Roxy’s Cook’s debut play A Woman Walks Into a Bank with Keith Dunphy (Under Black Rock, Arcola) playing C/A Debt Collector, Giulia Innocenti (Inspector Sands’ Wuthering Heights) playing A/An Old Woman, and Sam Newton (Big Big Sky, Hampstead) playing B/A Young Man. The part of a cat, Sally is played by all three.
