Beginning in 2024, The Rep's season of mainstage productions will take place each May through August. While specific titles for Summer '24 will be announced at a later date, 3-4 productions are expected each year, including both plays and musicals.

The Fisher Center at Bard will present Illinois, a world premiere music-theater work based on Sufjan Stevens’ acclaimed album of the same name, June 23–July 2.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present Broadway’s hunky gay ex-Mormon dad Claybourne Elder, star of Company, Sunday in the Park…, and HBO’s “The Gilded Age,” on Friday, April 28 at 9:30 PM

Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird was adapted for the stage by Aaron Sorkin and opened on Broadway at the Schubert Theatre in December of 2018. The play is set in 1930s Alabama and follows the story of Atticus Finch, a small-town lawyer in his defense trial of Tom Robinson, an African American man wrongfully accused of rape. However, Sorkin’s adaptation differs from the book by Lee, in which we see Atticus as the protagonist here, unlike the portrayal of Scout in Lee’s novel. Witnessing Atticus as the protagonist of the story we go on an emotional journey, and are able to see the change in Atticus as the show progresses. As Sorkin developed his adaptation, the production was faced with its own legal disputes. One being with the Lee estate in regards to its faithfulness to the original narrative, and the other to exclusivity rights regarding the use of the script by Christopher Sergel.

This spring, COAL MINE THEATRE presents another thrilling Toronto Premiere, Pulitzer Prize finalist Adam Rapp's mysterious drama THE SOUND INSIDE, on stage May 7 – 28.

 Choreographer Dominic Moore-Dunson will present the world premiere of inCOPnegro: Aftermath, an evening-length dance-theatre performance which explores concepts of safety, police relations, and the importance of community healing.
