Gingold Theatrical Group continues the 14th Season of Project Shaw, Art as Activism: A Theatrical Survival Guide, a special series of evenings of plays that embrace human rights and free speech. All of GTG's programming, inspired by the works of George Bernard Shaw, are designed to provoke peaceful discussion and activism.

THE ARMOR PLAYS: CINCHED & STRAPPED by Selina Fillinger, rounds out the 2018-2019 Theatre Three season with a new play that would likely be banned in Alabama based on today's headlines. From the madcap composure of the dining room to the dank wonder of the underground, women fight to escape futures laid out for them. THE ARMOR PLAYS, directed by Leslie Swackhamer, is produced by Theatre Three and runs June 6 through June 30, 2019 (2800 Routh St., #168 Dallas, TX 75201).

Producer Rick Murray will present the 2019 Cabaret at the Crown Series in Provincetown, MA this summer at The Crown & Anchor's Paramount Theatre and Town Hall Auditorium.  Tickets are now on sale for the Series, in which an impressive list of award-winning stars will be performing live in full concerts.  Following up on last summer's smash hit season, the 2019 Cabaret Series will include the talents of comedians Lisa Lampanelli, Margaret Cho, and Sandra Bernhard, as well as Broadway stars Lucie Arnaz (They're Playing Our Song, Pippin), Lillias White (The Life), Linda Lavin (Broadway Bound, Gypsy), Lorna Luft (Promises, Promises), John Lloyd Young (Jersey Boys), Linda Eder (Jekyll and Hyde), and television favorites Leslie Jordan (The Cool Kids, Will and Grace) and Fran Drescher (The Nanny).

After the record breaking success of WAM Theatre's fall 2018 production of ANN by Holland Taylor, WAM is thrilled to announce that Arena Stage in Washington, DC, and Dallas Theatre Center are presenting a new co-production of ANN in July and October of this year. WAM's Artistic Director, Kristen van Ginhoven, will again direct the production, and Jayne Atkinson returns to star in the title role.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) is proud to announce the initial lineup for 2019. Chicago Shakespeare Theater announces the cast and creative team for Short Shakespeare! Macbeth, a 75-minute abridged production of William Shakespeare's tale of political intrigue and personal ambition. Adapted and directed by Marti Lyons and featuring a dynamic ensemble cast, the production will be performed for the public on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m., February 16-March 16, 2019. After each performance, the actors remain on stage for a question-and-answer session, before joining the audience in the Lobby for one-on-one conversations and photo opportunities.
