Spitalfields Music has announced the full programme for its 2023 Festival, which will see world premieres, new music, overlooked historic pieces and classic repertoire performed in iconic East London locations from Village Underground to the Tower of London.

The record was conceived between the US, Portugal, and London (where Jake relocated from his New Orleans home during the pandemic) alongside the sort of head-turning guestlist that, in Shears’ cross-pollinating universe, also makes total sense: from Amber Martin and Boys Noize to Big Freedia, Kylie Minogue, and cameos from Jane Fonda and Iggy Pop. 

Azuka Theatre will close their 2022/2023 season with the World Premiere of Galilee written by Christine Evans and directed by Azuka's Co-Artistic Director Rebecca May Flowers.

d4vd prepares to embark on a run of summer tour dates in celebration of the upcoming project. His debut run of headline shows earlier this year as part of “The Root Of It All” tour sold out immediately. MUSE/IQUE honors Duke Ellington in performances entitled THE DUKE: Ellington as America's Ultimate Renaissance Man, conducted by Artistic and Music Director Rachael Worby, Sunday, May 21, 7:30 pm at the Skirball Cultural Center in West Los Angeles and Wednesday, May 24, 7:30 pm at the Huntington Library in San Marino.
