On October 14, the Long Beach Playhouse Studio Theatre closes its 2017 season with the musical Cabaret. When Cabaret debuted in 1966, it was sexually provocative and edgy for the time. By 1998, the bar had moved up what was considered provocative and edgy. The play was due for an update. (more...)

'Grey Gardens' tells the story of a Mother and Daughter who struggle through a steep descent from American Aristocracy to poverty and health department threats of eviction from their Long Island mansion.
