Riverside Theatres is set to once again become a hub for the best of children’s entertainment and activities this spring school holidays for the annual Spot On Children’s Festival, running over nine jam-packed days from 23rd September to 4th October.

Rose Theatre's Artistic Director, Christopher Haydon, has announced the first Rose Productions in the 2022/23 Season, beginning on 9 September with the London premiere of Anthony McCarten's The Two Popes starring Anton Lesser and Nicholas Woodeson.

Regan De Wynter Williams Productions has announced Sasha Regan's All-Male H.M.S. Pinafore crew. Gilbert & Sullivan's much-loved operetta will run at Wilton's Music Hall from 16th March - 9th April before sailing to the Theatre Royal Winchester from 21st April - 27th April.

As a new year of classroom learning commences following several years of disruptions, many local schools are looking forward to returning to live entertainment to enrich their student's learning.

A new out-of-this-world story by the creators of The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom is being transformed into a family play and it is landing at Parr Hall in March.

Following auditions by more than 300 hopeful artists in Brisbane and around the country (via video calls), the full cast of this September's Queensland premiere season of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was unveiled today coinciding with World Chocolate Day (7 July).

Recently awarded the prestigious British Book Award – Children's Book of the Year (Illustrated and Non-fiction), this joyous story of two star-crossed aliens on a far-off planet is being developed and previewed at Tall Stories' new studio space at Central Library, Islington before receiving its world premiere at the ROSE THEATRE in Kingston-upon-Thames, from 27 to 31 October 2021.

Under Haydon's stewardship, the Rose's own work will be the priority, as demonstrated by the five Rose Originals in this upcoming season, but there will always be room on the theatre's stage for the country's leading touring shows as well.  This season's Rose Originals are a blend of new plays tackling significant contemporary issues and well-known titles reinvented for today.

Australia's leading theatre producer John Frost today announced the full adult cast of the lavish and fun multi-million dollar musical comedy SHREK THE MUSICAL, which opens in Australia next year.
