Local theater group and last vestiges of humanity the Baltimore Rock Opera Society (BROS) today announced their original fall production, Space Kümité, premiering November 8th at the Peabody Heights Brewery in Charles Village. The play marks the first such event that will be held at the local brewery, as well as the DIY art community's 10 year anniversary.

Utah Symphony | Utah Opera and Music Director Thierry Fischer announced an extension of Conner Gray Covington's contract through the 2020-21 season, and a retention of his two titles as Utah Symphony Associate Conductor and Principal Conductor of the Deer Valley Music Festival, the latter of which he received in Spring 2019. The agreement extends the current contract, set to expire at the end of the 2019-20 season, for an additional year until August 31, 2021.

Today Shoreditch Town Hall announces their 2020 cultural programme which opens with the London premiere of This Time by award-winning circus company Ockham's Razor, presented as part of London International Mime Festival. In February, Tim Cowbury returns with his bold response to the migration crisis, The Claim, following its run in Edinburgh as part of the British Council Showcase; the piece is directed by Mark Maughan.

On 8 April, 1992, eight of Broadway's hottest men danced nearly naked on the bar at Splash, one of Manhattan's popular gay watering holes, and Broadway Bares was born. One of those men, the creator of Broadway Bares, was the now multi-award-winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell. Next year, Broadway will celebrate 30 years of this incredible life-affirming event. Storm Large is a rock star, a memoirist, and the creator/star of the autobiographical musical CRAZY ENOUGH, which was originally commissioned by Portland Center Stage at The Armory. Premiering in 2009, CRAZY ENOUGH ran for 21 weeks straight and still holds the record as the longest-running and most successful show in PCS history. The show is coming back for a very limited engagement this month.
