Pony World Theatre Turns 10 Years Old and Celebrates Birthday With A Party Image

Pony World Theatre first launched in 2009 with the original work, Emerald and the Love Song of the Dead Fishermen. Since that time, Pony World Theatre has presented twelve unique, playful, and evocative productions.

On the afternoon of September 8, 2019, Pony World Theatre is celebrating this last decade of work with a party! We're inviting fans, artists, audiences, and friends to join us from 2 - 5pm on Sunday, September 8 for a 10th birthday party. There will be a taco bar, cake, lawn games, raffles & prizes, and booze! We'll share exciting information on our upcoming site-specific, travelling production of The Christians. We'll also announce our 2020 season!

For those so inclined, there will be an opportunity to contribute to our 11th year of programming, but donations are not required.

Founded in 2009, Pony World Theater is an ensemble of artists who create playful and evocative performances that engage audiences in meaningful questions. We combine striking visuals, elastic realities, and boundless imagination into uncommon narratives.

Our name, Pony World, references a point in the creative process when anything is possible-when everyone can have their own pony. By infusing our entire process with this spirit, the company strives to create theatre that delights as it reveals, excites as it transforms.
