Old Forester's Paristown Hall Announces First Shows for Late Summer

Old Forester's Paristown Hall, Louisville's newest state-of-the-art standing room venue, has announced a roster of performances for its opening in late July. These acts include iconic New York rock band Interpol, Memphis country-punk rockers Lucero and singer-songwriter sensation Gavin DeGraw.  The Opening Night event on July 23 will be headlined by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, along with a slate of performers including the dance troupe Pilobolus, Mucca Pazza and local favorite Ben Sollee. 

CZT Holds Auditions For NEXT TO NORMAL

Cue Zero Theatre Company announces auditions for the Pulitzer Prize winning rock musical Next To Normal on Tuesday June 4th at 6:00p, with call backs on Thursday June 6th. Auditions will be held at Kimball Jenkins Estate (266 N Main St) in Concord. Rehearsals will be held Tuesdays/Thursday/Sunday evenings starting June 11th in Manchester, and performances are August 16th-25th at the Hatbox Theater in Concord, NH.

Stickup Kid Return With First New Full-Length In Six Years SOUL DRIVE

San Jose rock band Stickup Kid is back with a new album, 'Soul Drive,' which will be released on May 3rd. Formed in 2009, the band was previously signed to Billie Joe Armstrong's Adeline Records. 'Soul Drive' is their first new full-length since 2013's 'Future Fire.'

In support of the single, Royal Bliss will hit the road supporting Through Fire on the All Animal Tour. The tour will make 18 stops around the U.S. kicking off on May 12th in Denver, CO at The Oriental Theater and wrapping up June 1st in Atlanta, GA at The Masquerade (Hell). Tony Bennett Headlines 40th Ravinia Concert

 In 1962, fifty-seven years ago, the magnificent TONY BENNETT recorded "I Left My Heart in San Francisco."  The song was honored with two Grammy Awards, including "Record of the Year" and gave Tony a signature tune that, as he delights in saying, has made him "A Citizen of the World."  Last March, the classic was entered into the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress as "an aural treasure worthy of preservation." Now in 2019, and about to turn an ageless 93, the legendary performer -  himself a world treasure - continues to leave his heart in each song that he sings and in every aspect of his life.

Mastodon Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Album 'Crack The Skye'

GRAMMY® Award-winning Atlanta hard rock juggernaut Mastodon celebrate and commemorate the 10th anniversary of their groundbreaking 2009 concept album, Crack The Skye (Reprise Records), with special live performances, exclusive merchandise, and unreleased visual content throughout 2019. This summer, the band joins forces with Coheed and Cambria to co-headline The Unheavenly Skye Tour. At venues across North America, Mastodon will perform Crack The Skye in its entirety every night for the first time since 2010. San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) announced today the cast and creative team for Lynn Nottage's Sweat, winner of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Best Play. Directed by REP artistic director Sam Woodhouse, Sweat will be the final show in The REP's 43rd season. Sweat will run April 18 - May 12, 2019, at San Diego REP's Lyceum Stage Theatre, with previews April 18 - 23, and press opening on Wednesday, April 24 at 7:00 p.m.
