The Public Theater announced casting today for CORIOLANUS, the second show of The Public's 2019 Free Shakespeare in the Park season. Directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, the war-torn tragedy seen for the first time in 40 years, begins performances on Tuesday, July 16 and runs through Sunday, August 11, with an official press opening on Monday, August 5.

The stars were on their feet (toes, taps and standing ovations) on a warm Sunday night, May 19th, for the Chita Rivera Awards a?" an annual ceremony recognizing the very best in dance on Broadway, Off-Broadway and in film that honors icons and trailblazers while also nurturing future generations simultaneously. Join the Buck Creek Players as we close our 45th season of quality theatre with DISASTER!, a 70s Disaster Movie Musical by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick. Opening on Friday, May 31st, and continuing for three weekends through Sunday, June 16th, curtain times are at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2:30 p.m. matinees on Sundays.

Liz Cooper & The Stampede continue on their extensive headline tour through 2019 including stops at Denver's Larimer Lounge, Kansas City's The Record Bar, Spokane's The Bartlettand more.
