It brought a lotta joy, and today, as BroadwayWorld previously reported, Mr. Satuday Night plays its final Broadway performance. The Tony-nominated musical comedy, starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Billy Crystal, opened on Wednesday April 27th at the Nederlander Theater and has played 28 previews and 116 performances.

The Tony-nominated musical comedy, MR. SATURDAY NIGHT, starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Billy Crystal, will play through its announced on-sale date and will conclude its Broadway run on September 4, 2022.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Mr. Saturday Night, starring Billy Crystal, is now available on streaming and digital platforms worldwide. In honor of the album release, a new music video featuring Tony Award nominee Shoshana Bean's performance of “There's a Chance” was also released, and we've got both!

The Broadway Boys have shared their latest collaboration, this time joining Shoshana Bean for a remix of 'Maybe It Starts With Me' from Mr. Saturday Night. The video, which features Bean's performance on the TODAY Show, features Brad Greer, Nick Cartell, Jamarice Daughtry, Jesse Nager, and Michael Williams.

The Broadway production of Mr. Saturday Night has cancelled performances for today, May 28th, 2022, as Billy Crystal has tested positive for Covid-19. In an Instagram post announcement, the show's team writes, 'Today’s performances at 2PM and 8PM are canceled. Billy Crystal tested positive for Covid-19 prior to today’s performance of Mr. Saturday Night, despite strict adherence to health and safety protocols. A second test has confirmed this diagnosis.' 

Shoshana Bean revealed in an Instagram story that she will be out of Mr. Saturday Night for the remainder of the week due to Covid.
