The majority of this season’s Broadway shows are inspired by recent events, adapted from 20th or 21st century source material, or reflections of the current world we live in. But a handful of new Broadway productions of the 2026-2027 season actually reach farther back in history in order to reflect on today.  

Cellist Alisa Weilerstein will perform recitals at The Cathedral Church of Saint Paul in Boston and MIT's Thomas Tull Concert Hall in Cambridge as part of her 2026–27 residency with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
