Neshaminy Valley Music Theatre's spring 2017 production of Hello, Dolly!won three awards from the International Music and Entertainment Association. The awards were announced at a ceremony on June 16 at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The three recipients are Jackie Laurence of Quakertown for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Musical, Kyle Rodgers of Telford (Montgomery County) for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical, and George Kinsley of Langhorne for Outstanding Scenic Design of a Musical.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Bette Midler, who received unanimous raves and every Broadway acting honor, including the 2017 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her 'perfect, once-in-a-lifetime Dolly' (New York Magazine), will return to the title role in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival of Hello, Dolly! tonight, July 17, for a strictly limited six-week-only engagement.

How far would you go to reunite with a deceased loved one? That's the central question posed by 'Ghosts', an all-new horror drama written by Elford Alley and directed by Springfield native and George Mason alum Kathleen Barth for the Capital Fringe Festival 2018. 'Ghosts' follows Levi (Evan Crump) as he attempts to communicate with the paranormal using a mysterious device. Of course, all is not as it seems as Levi discovers the device's hidden secrets with ramifications that reveal as much about himself as his family's past.

HELLO, DOLLY! opened on July 12 at Garden Grove's historic GEM THEATRE presented by the award-winning One More Productions - one of Southern California's leading musical theater companies.

Soho Rep. (Sarah Benson, Artistic Director; Cynthia Flowers, Executive Director) today announced that actor Charles Browning will take over for Lance Coadie Williams in the world premiere of Jackie Sibblies Drury's Fairview, which Soho Rep. Artistic Director Sarah Benson directs, and which the downtown Manhattan theater presents in association with Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, Williams is unable to continue.The production now runs at Soho Rep. June 2 - July 8, with opening now set for Sunday, June 17. 

Producer Scott Rudin announced today that two-time Tony Award winner, and one of Broadway's most treasured stars, Donna Murphy, will once again step into the role of Dolly Gallagher Levi for six performances of Hello, Dolly!, during Tony Award winner Bette Midler's return to the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, star of stage and screen Zachary Levi is set to join Amazon's hit series THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL. He is cast in the recurring role of an eccentric doctor. MasterVoices - dedicated to the art of musical storytelling and the celebration of the human voice - presents a free performance of a new version of the dramatic oratorio Naamah's Ark by composer Marisa Michelson and librettist Royce Vavrek, on Sunday, June 17 at 7:00 p.m. at Rockefeller Park. The Broadway Education Alliance just announced that The Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance will be held on Saturday, May 19 at Pearl Studios in Manhattan. This program is open to high schools located in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island, Orange and Rockland Counties, and Westchester. To be eligible, high schools must present an officially licensed production of a Broadway musical during the 2017- 2018 academic year. The Roger Rees Awards has accepted 29 schools, whose students will compete for the title of Best Actor and Best Actress. Winners of the Roger Rees Award will represent the Greater New York region at The Broadway League Foundation's Jimmy® Awards (also known as the National High School Musical Theatre Awards) in June.

Season two of Disney Channel's hit comedy series 'Raven's Home' is set to premiere with a week of four new episodes, beginning MONDAY, JUNE 25 - THURSDAY, JUNE 28 (9:30-10:00 a.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel, in the DisneyNOW app and on Disney Channel VOD.
