Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company, founded in 1972, celebrates its 50th Anniversary with the premiere of Once Upon El Barrio, conceived and choreographed by Enrique Cruz DeJesus, Artistic Director since 1998.  Inspiration for his new work has come from the writings of Piri Thomas, poet and author of Seven Long Times, and Savior, Savior, Hold My Hand, and the best-selling autobiography Down These Mean Streets. 

Famed Argentine dancer/choreographer Guillermina Quiroga, one of the world's leading tango dancers, will be joined by her longtime partner, Mariano Logiudice, dancers Adriana Salgado and Orlando Reyes, and the Latin Grammy award-winning Pedro Giraudo Tango Quartet (bass, violin, bandoneon, piano) in Tango in Concert, a brilliant program that brings to life the passion, soul and beauty of Argentine tango.

While the new version of Godspell, produced by the Teatro El Soho in Malaga, is being put together, Antonio Banderas and Stephen Schwartz are already working on another collaboration - a new musical, according to the website of American playwright and theater director Gordon Greenberg.

Disney Theatrical Productions has announced casting for the 2022-2023 season of its blockbuster North American touring production of Frozen.

On December 5th, 2021, The Walt Disney Family Museum celebrated Walt’s birthday with a virtual fundraiser honoring Sir Tim Rice. Proceeds from the event support The Walt Disney Family Museum’s educational programming, including its newest initiative, the At-Promise Youth Animation Academy. The Academy is an intensive animation-focused jobs-training program, with an emphasis on students experiencing economic and social displacement. 

Historical themes have always been incorporated into stage shows, from classic Broadway musicals to contemporary productions. Contrary to what some may believe, not all historical-themed productions are old Broadway musicals. Several historical musicals have gone on to become classics, though this is not specifically a golden age musicals list.

The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre in partnership with Greenfield is proud to announce the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Speaker Series.
