Entries now open! BroadwayWorld announced today the launch of BROADWAY'S NEXT ON STAGE - a new, online musical theatre singing competition for student performers sponsored by Broadway Records! Inspired by your favorite network TV singing contests, the site is inviting high school and college aged students to submit videos of themselves performing a song from the musical theatre canon to enter the competition.

For quite some time now, there has been talk of a big screen adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen, and in the last several weeks many details have come out about the film and who we can expect to see bring the nervous teenager and his friends from the stage to the screen.

BroadwayWorld just reported last week that Amy Adams and Danny Pino joined the cast of the upcoming 'Dear Evan Hansen' film. Now Deadline reports that Oscar winner Julianne Moore has joined the cast.

This list includes books like Wicked: The Grimmerie and Hamilton: The Revolution, as well as a Broadway cookbook, a book about Broadway art, the collected lyrics and Stephen Sondheim, and more!

According to Deadline, film star Amandla Stenberg has joined the cast of Universal Pictures' upcoming Dear Evan Hansen film. Stenberg will play Alana- a role that will be expanded for the film and will feature a new song, written by Stenberg in collaboration with musical composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
