The Menier Chocolate Factory has announced casting the European première of Paul Grellong’s Power of Sail. Performances run 20 March – 12 May.

With its critically acclaimed production of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman’s Pacific Overtures running at the venue, the Menier Chocolate Factory has announced the European première of Paul Grellong’s Power of Sail. Dominic Dromgoole returns to the company, after the success of last year’s Marjorie Prime, to direct.

Lawrence is known for their work, which includes their recent album, 2021's acclaimed Good Morning, America (feat. Lucinda Williams, Amanda Shires, Marissa Nader, Girlpool, etc) as well as their work as a producer and songwriter for artists including Angel Olsen, Margo Price, Amanda Shires, Kali Uchis, Kim Gordon, SASAMI, Soccer Mommy and more.

Next up for the Ruskin Group Theatre, two shows in tandem – John Colella’s An Extraordinary Ordinary Man and Paul Linke’s It’s Only a Show!, both opening January 13, 2024.
