Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are open this September with a full slate of nightly performances!

ELLA: An American Miracle, a new musical written by Anna Deavere Smith (Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992 and Notes From The Field) and featuring music from the Ella Fitzgerald songbook, is currently in development, with an upcoming work session held from August 25-September 21 to conclude with a private industry presentation.

Joe's Pub will present the U.S. debut of MASHUP ting!, an island-kissed circus cabaret directed and performed by Liza Paul and Bahia Watson, on September 15-17.

Audiences are invited to return to the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music's (CCM) concert halls and theaters to experience world-class performances and presentations by the next generation of performing and media artists!

Valerie Green/Dance Entropy will present the premiere of HOME, an international collaborative dance project, for three nights this fall. Performances will take place Thursday–Saturday, September 29–October 1, at 7:30pm, at Gibney: Agnes Varis Performing Arts Center.

The Lion King will welcome Jelani Remy back to the Broadway production in the role of Simba beginning tonight, Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Brandon A. McCall is on a leave of absence and is scheduled to return Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

Tonka, the 38-year-old chimpanzee who appeared when he was a baby alongside Alan Cumming in the film Buddy, has been found and rescued by PETA following a years-long legal battle with his former owner, Tonia Haddix. Tonka was discovered beng held in a tiny cage in Haddix's basement.
