Amas Musical Theatre will celebrate its 58th Anniversary at its annual Gala Benefit on Monday, May 11, 2026 at “Rosetta's Place” at Penthouse 45 (432 West 45th Street - NYC). 

Center Theatre Group will present CTG: The Gala, the not-for-profit's annual event which will be held at The Music Center, featuring cocktails and dinner on the Jerry Moss Plaza and a one-night-only show at the Mark Taper Forum.

Next month, 54 Below, Broadway’s Supper Club & Private Event Destination, will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond, including Vanessa Williams, Tony Danza and more. 

For the past two seasons, 14 or 15 new musicals have opened on Broadway. Even in the challenging first two seasons coming out of the pandemic, Broadway saw 8 or 9 new musicals opening. And in the last four full seasons prior to the pandemic, Broadway saw an average of 11 new musicals per season. What gives?

54 Below will honor the Black performers, producers, and artists who are vital members of our artistic community this Black History Month, featuring performances by Vanessa Williams and more.

Town Hall Theater will present The Hollywood Musical: Part 2, a four-part class and film series led by Director in Residence Doug Anderson. The program examines the evolution of the Hollywood movie musical from the 1950s through the present.

Negotiations continue as two of Broadway's biggest unions, Actors' Equity Association and Local 802 AFM (Broadway musicians) work toward new working contracts with the Broadway League.
