John Németh, a veteran of multiple Blues Music Award and Blues Blast Music accolades and Top 10 Billboard honors, and his high-powered band The Blue Dreamers, announced the first 17 concert dates of their 2020 Feelin' Freaky Tour today.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce the next round of artist additions for MerleFest 2020, which will be held April 23-26. Melissa Etheridge, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, The Marcus King Band, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and John Cowan will be joining the annual homecoming of musicians and music fans on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Birdland Jazz Club has released its schedule for December 30-January 12. Performers include Marilyn Maye, John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey Duo, The Billy Stritch Trio, and more.

Goodspeed Musicals has announced this year's cast of A Connecticut Christmas Carol - the musical treat infused with Connecticut flavor by LJ Fecho and Michael O'Flaherty. Stef Mariani's invites you to her album release celebration of 'Highway of Love' and local favorites Good Foot Hawaii! take the stage. The Hawaii News Now Jazz Legends Series continues with Keiko Matsui and Lightnin' Larry Dupio presents an eclectic night of traditional and original Big Island blues. Willie K returns, electric blues guitar powerhouse Robben Ford takes the stage and the month rounds out with singer-songwriter Jon McLaughlin.

Does everyone love Buddy Holly? The Brits certainly do. Alan Janes' BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY opened on the West End in London in 1989 and ran for eight years the first time, toured the United Kingdom over 25 years, and was revived for a year on the West End in 2007, so there's been massive love for the show there for three decades. It's been here, too, as BUDDY opened on Broadway in 1990 and has kept going around America since then as well.

It's hard to imagine a more intimate or powerful production of Tarell Alvin McCraney's 'The Brothers Size' than the probing, searing version on stage at the Ancram Opera House. Director Martine Kei Green -Rogers totally realizes McCraney's multi-textured storytelling of prose, song and dance, putting three fabulous actors in your face (just about) off a thrust stage and into the audience in the compact, old grange hall in upstate Hudson Valley.

Walnut Street Theatre continues its 210th anniversary season with Simon Stephens' Tony Award-winning Best Play, THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME. Directed by Bill Van Horn, the play begins previews on March 12th, opens on March 20th, and runs through April 28th on the Walnut's Mainstage.
