Soho Rep will present Montag, written by Kate Tarker, directed by Dustin Wills and with original opera music by Daniel Schlosberg. The world premiere production of Montag runs October 12–November 13 at Soho Rep.

19 Broadway shows will be participating in the 2022 fall season of Broadway Bridges. Broadway Bridges is The Broadway League’s initiative that seeks to offer every New York City public high school student the opportunity to experience a Broadway show before graduation.

TheaterWorks Hartford will open its 2022-2023 season with Fun Home. The cast for Fun Home includes Broadway veterans Aaron Lazar as Bruce, Christiane Noll as Helen, and Sarah Beth Pfeifer.

Skylight Music Theatre will stream Kate Baldwin’s Broadway Comes Home, a concert and documentary film, Friday, Sept. 9 through Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, on Skylight’s website. Broadway Comes Home features footage from Baldwin’s intimate concert last year in front of a small, invited audience on the stage of Skylight’s Cabot Theatre.

International Contemporary Ensemble’s 20th anniversary season continues with Peyvand (پیوند), a concert of curated works by members of the Iranian Female Composers Association (IFCA) on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 7:30pm at NYU Skirball Center.

Two world premieres – A Nation of Others, a new oratorio for six soloists, chorus and orchestra by Paul Moravec and Mark Campbell with the Oratorio Society of New York at Carnegie Hall that brings to life one day of immigrants’ arrival at Ellis Island in 1921 (November 15, 2022); and a setting of the Stabat Mater for organ, soloists, chorus, and orchestra by David Briggs at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine (March 8, 2023) – are highlights of the 2022-23 season of Kent Tritle.

The GRAMMY-winning songwriter Dan Wilson released the official video for the title track to his forthcoming EP Dancing On The Moon. The six song EP is his first collection of solo material since his 2017 album Re-Covered and follows his band Semisonic’s first release of new music in nearly 20 years You’re Not Alone that was released in 2020.

This July, Berkshire Theatre Group will present Songs For a New World, the first musical by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown at The Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge, MA, and also the 2022 Colonial Concert Series: Featuring Broadway Luminaries Chita Rivera and Charl Brown at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, MA.

The 92nd Street Y, New York (92NY) has announced its 2022/23 Tisch Music Season, one of 92NY's largest and most diverse seasons to date.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will kick off their 2023 international tour with 31 performances across the United States. The shows will mark Springsteen and The E Street Band's first tour dates since February 2017, their first in North America since September 2016 and their first performances at the new venue.

William Shakespeare's joyous and popular comedy Much Ado About Nothing will open at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, the professional theatre on the campus of DeSales University. The show previews July 13 and 14, opens July 15, and runs through August 7 in the Schubert Theatre at the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts.

The US premiere and strictly limited, nine-week New York engagement of David Hare’s new play, Straight Line Crazy, starring Ralph Fiennes as Robert Moses and directed by Nicholas Hytner and Jamie Armitage, will be presented this fall at The Shed.

Running July 1 through 16 at The Colonial Theatre, the audience will be transported to a bustling Irish pub with a stage full of incredibly talented actors singing and playing their own instruments. 

This summer, the International Contemporary Ensemble, in partnership with The New School's College of Performing Arts, will present Ensemble Evolution-a hybrid summer intensive designed to foster a holistic understanding of the artist as a global citizen-from Saturday, June 25 to Saturday, July 2.
