This July, Berkshire Theatre Group will present Songs For a New World, the first musical by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown at The Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge, MA, and also the 2022 Colonial Concert Series: Featuring Broadway Luminaries Chita Rivera and Charl Brown at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, MA.

The six song EP is his first collection of solo material since his 2017 album Re-Covered. The new collection will feature four new recordings along with the previously released “Under The Circumstances” and “Red Light,” which was co-written with Jenny Owen Youngs and Ethan Gruska. The 92nd Street Y, New York (92NY) has announced its 2022/23 Tisch Music Season, one of 92NY's largest and most diverse seasons to date.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will kick off their 2023 international tour with 31 performances across the United States. The shows will mark Springsteen and The E Street Band's first tour dates since February 2017, their first in North America since September 2016 and their first performances at the new venue.

William Shakespeare's joyous and popular comedy Much Ado About Nothing will open at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, the professional theatre on the campus of DeSales University. The show previews July 13 and 14, opens July 15, and runs through August 7 in the Schubert Theatre at the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts.

The full season will feature B.R.O.K.E.N code B.I.R.D switching, a world premiere play and an award recipient of the GRANTS FOR ARTS PROJECTS from the National Endowment for the Arts; Once, a Tony Award-winning musical; Songs For a New World, the first musical by a Tony Award winner; Dracula, a classic gothic tale of horrors; and Edward Albee's Seascape, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play.

Morningside Music Bridge has selected 65 outstanding musicians, aged 12 to 18, from 11 countries to take part in its 26th annual summer program. Representing the highest international standards of excellence, the young violinists, violists, cellists, and pianists will receive full scholarships for a month of intensive training.

San Francisco Opera presents Bright Sheng and David Henry Hwang's Dream of the Red Chamber from June 14–July 3 at the War Memorial Opera House.
