As BroadwayWorld reported earlier this week, six new recordings have earned nominations for Best Musical Theatre Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards, including Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella, Girl From the North Country, the Unofficial Bridgerton Musical, Stephen Schwartz's Snapshots, and Les Miserables: The Staged Concert (The Sensational 2020 Live Recording).

The nominations for the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album are out! The awards honored six musicals, including Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella, Girl From the North Country, the Unofficial Bridgerton Musical, Stephen Schwartz's Snapshots, and Les Miserables: The Staged Concert (The Sensational 2020 Live Recording).

Since Broadway had been dark throughout the nomination process, the society would instead honor virtual theatre productions that happened throughout the year, naming it the Virtual Theatre Award. Other nominees include Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, Girls5Eva, Ted Lasso, Bridgerton, Wandavision, Shrill, This Is Us, The Queen's Gambit, and more.

Netflix has released an all new first look at the upcoming second season of Bridgerton, coming in 2022!

Academy Award-nominee Taryn Edgerton will join Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey in Mike Bartlett's play Cock this spring on the West End.
